I have over 15 years’ experience in Children’s Occupational Therapy and have worked in clinics, homes, mainstream and special needs schools. I currently work for the James Paget NHS Foundation Trust, which covers Norfolk and Suffolk and deliver occupational therapy to children from 0-19 encompassing a broad spectrum of conditions: physical and learning disability, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Global Delay, Dyspraxia, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Down’s Syndrome, Learning Disability, Hypermobility, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Sensory Processing.
Specialising in coordination, hand writing and sensory processing difficulties, I am passionate about empowering children and improving their self-esteem by providing practical solutions and comprehensive treatment strategies that can be implemented in schools and at home to improve their coordination and concentration, progress their skills and manage their sensory and behaviour difficulties.
I moved to Norfolk 5 years ago and love living by the sea with my husband. I have four children (identical twin girls, daughter and son) and four step children (three boys one girl) whose ages range from 20 to 32 and three granddaughters.
Outside of work, I enjoy dog walking along the beach, yoga therapy, playing the piano, drawing/painting, especially portraits, cooking, making wine and gardening. I belong to the Great Yarmouth Guild of Artists and Craftsmen and a local art group.
